That pile would last us about 2 weeks in cold weather GT, got more? :tounge2 :rolling[/quote]

Your burning for the house and the shop, that pile will last me the whole winter. Usually burn about 3 cord.

Yea already had to cut it up and split, kind of enjoy my morning work outs. My back limits how long I work at it.

Wood takes care of 90% Dec.-Feb. we have electric baseboard to fill in the gaps. I installed duct work through the house to distribute the heat, need to switch to a unit like you have to get more efficiency.

We do the same, we use the heat pump when it's weather like this, or at least above 45 degrees or so cause it's as cheap as the AC. What type of wood stove are you using now? Can you box it and put a squirrel cage fan on it? The first stove we had we enclosed and made our own wood furnace.

Mowed possibly for the last time yesterday. I can't believe the grass had grown so much. Going to move the tractors out of the parking lot to the farm today and try to get some more last minute things and cleaning done outside while we have a few more days of nice weather. It was 77 and sunny yesterday and supposed to be 77 today! :woo
