It's working but nothing will split this petrified stuff, it's been dead for many years. On top of that, it is loaded with large branches that go almost to the core and twisted. Nothing short of swinging a sledgehammer with wedges will get it manageable enough for what the slitter can do. These 2 trees were about 3 feet in diameter and 80 feet tall.

12 hours a day at my real job then on days off get up....paint at my parents in law till from 9-2pm....come home....head to other job whether at school cleaning or driving bus.....
Guess I'll have some extra money though to see me through the winter.....the lean months for extra dough.....
