More petrified Ash wood splitting for me this morning.

you get that splitter working?

It's working but nothing will split this petrified stuff, it's been dead for many years. On top of that, it is loaded with large branches that go almost to the core and twisted. Nothing short of swinging a sledgehammer with wedges will get it manageable enough for what the slitter can do. These 2 trees were about 3 feet in diameter and 80 feet tall.

I keep building them and they never last.
