9:00pm, it has stopped snowing up here in Michigan, we're at 11 inches of wet heavy stuff, guess I'll be plowing in the morning but I know it will take awhile, probably 3-4 times as long as the light fluffy white stuff would be.

Working with a Wheel Horse is never a pain, just a lot of fun:

Installed a piece of HDPE plastic as my wear blade, used it for 90 minutes on my 7,000 soft drive (asphalt & concrete), and was very impressed with it, hardly any wear on it . . . at this rate I should get 2-3 seasons off of just one end of it, quite and had no trouble with ice clunks, behaved just like a steel edge, 1/2"x4"x4', drilled very easy. Off eBay, $22 + shipping, ordered 2 and he combined shipping, 'Alro' has something similar but slightly softer.
Oh, the 11" was down to about 8" this morning, frozen.

This is my plowing tractor, all wheels have RimGuard, rear weights and a front weight gives an extra 400#. She always starts and works.

the non steel edge is something i am looking in to myself thanks for the point in the right direction.
a tractor can make snow fun but the low temperatures can make it much less fun.
