856 Restoration

More red today and yesterday. Got the hood painted yesterday as well as the foot rests and clutch pedal. Also painted the hood pivot bracket and the part in front of the shifter. Next will be moving on to the seat pan. Also will be removing the upholstery on the seat and get the pan painted and sent out for reupholstered if anyone is open right now around me. Will probably also be taking the battery box off as well as belt guard and paint those. Just keep chugging along removing a couple pieces at a time.

More sandblasting and more painting. Got a lot more parts off the frame. Had enough time and paint to be able to paint the belt guard and the height adjustment cast piece. Been staring at all the parts. Getting excited.

It’s as far as it’s going to go now. Degreasing the frame today, little more tomorrow, then wire wheel and paint. Have some more parts needing to be sandblasted. The painted pile is definitely getting bigger now compared to the unpainted pile.

Frame is painted and dried.

No pictures right now. Would like to get a couple more pieces on the frame. Will update in a couple hours with pics. The sandblasted pile is getting smaller and the frame is getting heavier. Better get it off the saw horses now lol.
