its been flat around me at $1.83 the last few days even with the hoilday weekend.

Won't be long a per mile tax will be in effect....with the gas saving cars on the market and electric coming on board they have to tax something else.

They've been talking about that for years because of the electric, hybrids, and gas sippers. You can always put a little toggle switch on the speed sensor wire to fix that. The check engine light will come on, the cruise won't work, and the speedo and odometer will stop, but it would take care of the tax....

it was not that long ago that the gas guzzler tax was in place.
now it will be the green machine tax
give it time it will be in place .

Gas is only $1.71 here in mid-Michigan (Speedway, Lansing), never thought I'ld see that price again.
(Now, if we could only get 'regular gas' back again, no more of this 10 & 15% ethanol stuff).
