On another note it really helped getting my cheap HF sandblaster working right. Added a metering system under it to replace the crummy siphon system. Changed the exhaust around so I could see what was going on and put new lights in.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

So did you turn it into a pressure blasting system? Do you have a pic of what you did inside? :smile2

It is not a pressure system.
Still uses suction but with gravity feed.
Works 1000% better than a suction tube in the sand. Had to run the hose through the front of the cabinet.

One 310-8 left today, Steve's 312-8 is getting picked up tomorrow and it's time to clean up the shop, do a few other little things and get some new things in the store.

The one I was just working on had some weird problems, some of them caused by what is in the pic below lol. :tounge2

GT, I like what you did for the suction side. I might just steal that idea for my TP Tools blaster cabinet.

I have to do some work on my cabinet this spring. I wore out the trigger gun and I think I'll add a foot pedal and new gun. Good time to improve the suction.

Thanks

This was not my design, got it from You Tube. Here is a link to it. There are also units ready made for this.
