What's everybody doing? was created by Geno
I've been out working on the landscaping and pulling up some bushes, some are dead and the live ones next to them have to go or they won't match lol. Picked a bad hot day but after all the rain last night it had to be done before the ground turns rock hard again, and that won't take long with this heat.
Also been cleaning the parking lot, one of the other garages, and parting a few rotten decks that can't be saved. The Wheel Horse team did good today.

Glad you asked, first replacing the roof on our house, then we have a window contractor installing new windows and finally a fresh exterior paint job. The paint job is something my wife and I do, and I hate to paint... When its 95 to 100 degrees you have to paint fast or your brush dries out.

Sounds like it's gonna be new Motor.
I'm with you on the hating to paint. In hot weather we do it in the mornings early and stop when it gets hot. It takes more time but working in this heat is more miserable.

I missed those flatbeds when I was down there in May!!!!
Had to take an emergency trip to the Eastern Shore.....nothing related to medical.....just had to go... Missed the Big Show. I've seen all those tractors before anyway.... However I would have liked to have seen a few folks.

Sorry I forgot to show you what was in the lot and other garages, will make sure to next year.
Hope you had a good trip and glad everyone's ok.
I'll be working on the parking lot again today. The network in the house is out and has been since Saturday so I won't be on much after I leave the shop at night. It was nice that I got some quality quiet time yesterday.

Since you asked Geno,
I've got two projects under way.
First is what I hope is an improvement to my 2 stage blower. The auger was wobbling around, especially at low speed. Probably due to an out of balance impeller. So I fabbed up a support from the frame down to the auger gear box. Well see how it works this winter.
Second, I was working on my Ford 660 fenders. One is done, the other still has some work to do. I have about 30 hrs. of torch, hammer, and welding work in getting the second one back in something usable. It was badly bent and rusted. It won't be perfect. Moving them around reminded me that each fender weighs more than 55 pound WH wheel weight.
Fun!

Most of the 2 stages I've seen have that wobble, even my NOS ones have it that I've tried. Nice improvement, they should have come from the factory that way.
Looks like the fender is coming along nicely too.

I agree, I took a look at several other large two stage blowers and they all had the center brackets. Easy enough to fab one, so I gave it try. Only cost me two holes in the frame of the blower. I can't see how this can hurt and it has to take a lot of load off the auger gear box bearings and seals.
