The tin looks real good, makes the paint look extra nice when completed. With the availability of good parts that tractor should be first class. Looking forward to the progress photos. I love red painted stuff.......

My 854 had the same problem, it kills me when people take what they think is the path of least resistance. For me replacing the belt would have been the easier option.

the paint looks good, krylon right. I am wondering, what is the shade of the white and is it also krylon. The wheels on my 854 are a bright white and I am going to change them back to an off white. when I finished the RJ with the correct color wheels I can compare the two and I like the RJ factory color better. I know Krylon dries fast so I think that's what I will use for the wheels. Thanks.

I use the Krylon Ivory Gloss Motor. Not the Dual, the one below that. It's $3.62 here at Wal-Mart. The Dual dries too slow for me. The insides of the wheels weren't painted except for the bead lip and around the valve stem where a small area was sandblasted and done around it. You can see a little in the pics that it is almost a perfect match to the original, the only big difference is the shine. :)

Thanks Guys. The only real trick to painting is plenty of light, and some OCD doesn't hurt either. :rolling3
