The HH100 may be a hard one to come by, so are the H60 or HH60's. The 60's are almost impossible to find, several people looking for them here including me.

I was given a 1969 charger 10 with a blown, replacement Kohler 301 and would like replace the big kohler with the original techy. I have given up trying to find one, so will probably just rebuild the kohler or replace with a 181.

Personally I think a 12 hp makes that Charger a much better tractor.....I have a 12hp on mine...originally a Techy 10. Tecumseh is a strong motor but that solid state deal scares most folks. I know they had 8hp on the 87X tractors but the 10 pinion limited slip diff the Chargers have take some power.

Just to up date, I got the 12 horse Kohler apart and will just rebuild and stick it back on there. The tractor will be used only as a cruiser and maybe some light work, but mainly for my grandson to ride around, that's why I wanted to go with a smaller engine, and would really like to make it original again, but that won't happen. As soon as I get everything measured (cylinder, crank journal) to determine what I need, I can get a rebuild kit off e bay for about $80.00, and have it ready to go for probably a little over $100.00. Not much for a good wheel horse that was given to me. Thank ya'll for your help/advise.
