I think as of now if things don't change Sept is gonna be a vacation month to do dad's new barn. :smile2

I stayed late last night and got some things painted so I could put some of it together today, it was a little too late last night to take pics so here they are. :thumb1

One thing never ceases to amaze, what takes 2 hours to get apart takes 2 minutes to put back together. :jump1

The tower is all mounted, everything is adjusted and done. The tug parts are supposed to be here tomorrow, UPS sent me a notification that says they were already in Lexington, KY at 1:27 pm today, 30 miles from me. :thumb1

I got ready to mount the regular plate and put a plug in the hole like they did if it didn't have a ammeter but I thought it would be nice to have an actual volt meter in there so there it is. I think that's enough for today, time to leave a few mins early and go find some food... :smile2

Great work! Beyond what I dared hope!

Only problem is the nice stuff makes the rest of it look a bit tatty.

Thanks Jim. :thanks She's a work in progress, at least what's been done here is done right and behind us, you can always do more later. :thumb

I got the tower all back together, modified the fuel tank plate and fuel tank like the newer ones to put the common shutoff in it, changed out the line from the tank and filter, then fired it up after lunch today. It's running and charging like it should and all is good there. :thumb1

I got the parts today and they forgot to ship the seats, that's ok nobody's perfect lol. I do have a problem with the main steering what they call a pivot bearing once I got the cylinders off this morning and got everything cleaned up. It's the brass piece that does all the steering, tilting and swiveling. The holes are pretty thin, there's a pic included below, I'll put them last in the pics and try to call you here in a few.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

More like a 5% lol, the only things restored are what I'm furnishing and/or replacing, the tower, shifter assy, and dash plate. :tounge2

The pivot bearing is ordered, I told them they forgot the seats, and I got a ship notification from UPS that the label was created so it should be here in 2-3 days. I'll know more tomorrow and put an update in here. :thumb1.

As of 10:22 this morning the package is in Lexington 30 miles away so it should be here tomorrow. And they did send the seats this time. :thumb1
