Tough decision was created by motor12
I am going to a tractor & engine show in a couple of weeks here in Texas and I only have room for one tractor. My enclosed trailer (5x10) will have hit & miss engines and a small wagon on board. That leaves the pick up bed for one tractor. Will it be the RJ58 or the 854.The tractor that goes is also used to ride around the fair grounds, and they both are capable of that. I'm leaning toward the RJ.

That's a tough decision Motor. If I could only take one tractor and it was going to be used for my event transportation, I'd lean towards the one with the electric starter.

Is size and weight a concern? The RJ is smaller, a lot lighter (in-trailer weight & just rolling around) and usually draws more attending that later year models.

It's going to be the RJ, I hate to pick one over the other, they are both classic. I will have to make a sign " NOT FOR SALE " as the Wheel Horse tractor in Texas is a rare sight for sure. Last spring I took both tractors to an engine and tractor show and could have sold both, lots of people wanted the RJ for their kids to ride around on.
