Finally had a couple minutes this morning....got the pump hooked up and I got fuel to the carb within a few seconds. Had ignition on the first turnover. I guess we will see about the longevity.....it is a fuel pump for a car so I'm thinking it should last a while. One of the reviewers on Amazon said they used one on a 12hp Wheel Horse so I figured the carb float shutoff pin would be OK.....

It should last you a very long time Bob. They last a long time on cars with a lot more run time. If that one does fail they have that pump at most of the parts houses like Autozone, may cost a little more but it will have a lifetime warranty.
