Suburban was created by M Bailey
Finally making some progress on the 400 after numerous distractions slowed things down (life). Started working on it last fall and didn't realize how bad a shape it was in till I started tearing it down. Pretty much one step forward and two steps back for a while.

Another trip to TSC tomorrow for more hardware and should have the sheet metal back on in the next day or so.

looking sweet!
after doing all the"dirty work" to bring one back.
you go from wrecking crew covered in dirt and grease,
to a surgeon wearing gloves just to wipe finger prints off the parts that you just installed.
coming full circle you have to love it makes the work pay off.

Thanks for all the great replies guys! Installed the hood, gas tank, steering wheel and new fuel line today and ran it for about an hour to check out the transmission. All good so far. Still need to fab up a 1.5X4" plate that goes between the choke and throttle levers.
