You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Black engine.....I probably would have went red as that thing looks pretty good.....maybe the new owner wanted it that way....red tanks are unique also....
Looks great though.....

I've been playing with colors some. This is the first one I did like this to see what it looks like finished.
I also made some changes to the C145 and will be doing them that way from now on. Matter of fact were going to do the rear pan inset Satin Black on the next one to see how it looks. Did you see the changes on that one?

This one went together pretty quick, but it has been 1 little imperfection after another. Most of it is worked out except the front light inner pieces are missing that I have to replace, redo the rear light, and the top shift plate is around here somewhere. It used to have the hydro lever in the center and I put another one in it that goes on the side. Also waiting on some key stock to make a new key for the drive pulley, then the PTO can go on.
So what is the verdict on the black engine?

Looks fine to me...you know it doesn't really matter....I guess one part of me wants the tractors to be as they were....when I get to the 125 it will be the way it should....since it is a stock tractor....now the Charger is a custom tractor....anything goes with custom....
Good job.....It looks fantastic.....

Something about that 14 automatic just doesn't seem right to me....the 73's had the DCL between the legs....at least so I thought.....I'm probably wrong....
