well it was opened up and inspected with out finding anything that was out of the ordinary.
looked like it was filled with 30wt oil or some thing close what is the correct lube for it?
the front axle is also cleaned-up ready to go
some wear on the bottom inside of the spindles but it should not effect much.

Looking good John. Plain old 80-90 gear oil is what I put in my manual transmissions.

Really nice work you're doing there John!
Here is something good for you to use - Lube, Belt + Blade Chart It's updated and supersedes what the manuals may say.

well we been busy both at home and at work so it the updates just did not come as expected
but here we go last you saw it was a front end and transmission well it got married to the repaired frame.
.
notice in photo above that i was able to find a bronze flange bushing for the steering wheel shaft in upper dash
to replace the original plastic one that came out my local ace hardware had it for $2 not bad
when somehow i became a body man ....
wet sanding every 2nd night followed up by a coat of paint.
RUSTOLEUMregal red and lots of 3m sanding foam
turn the clock ahead and this is what i am looking at today.
on the list for tomorrow is to reline the brake band
hoping to install it and close up that side by Sunday evening
