Got the frame painted today. Plan on priming and painting at least the counsel today. Maybe the belt guard or rear fender. Coming along.
The paint I'm using is a car paint so it will be strong. And I think it's close to original. Sorry about bad pic. Sun was in bad position

I have the hood painted too.
On another note, what does everyone think about painting the engine a flat black?

Its your tractor Justin. You have to be happy with it. Do what you want it to look like. I like that look personally.

Well I was talking to my friend and he was the one who brought it up. I started thinking I just wanted others opinion. I do like one better but I want to get others opinions first. It would get away from all the red. Get at least some black in there. Can't go wrong with flat black.Scott wrote: Its your tractor Justin. You have to be happy with it. If you think about it, it basically would be a similar look to the 300 series TORO/Wheelhorse tractors. The Kohlers are all black. Something unique for an older unit I suppose, but I agree with Scott...everyone has a unique taste and desire of how things should look. My uncle decks his vehicles out with some of the most bizarre things I have ever seen, but they are his vehicles and his style...that makes him happy. Just don't ask me to do the same lol.

Ok. Got all of the big parts painted. The counsel is bolted to the frame. Coming along nicely.
