Well I'm going back out there to finish up the cleanup and rebuild..

Still trying to get those blades off.. What a bear! :waiting :angry2 :angry

Major do you know what bearings are used in the spindles? I have seen quite a few different numbers pop up when searching?

AJ, when it comes to deck work an impact wrench is your best friend. all 3 of my 42" decks use 106085 - 106084 bearings, the 106085 being unsealed and the 106084 sealed. Don't order the bearings until you pull out the old ones to verify the size. Take a look at my reassembly guide Spindle Bearing Installation
