Does anyone know why or have a good guess as to why engines made now a days only show their displacement (cc) instead of hp anymore. I'll give you a hint, briggs was what did it, but what did they do???

Well back in the day when Gary worked for briggs briggs had I think it was the 12 13 and 14 horse engines. And all they did to make a difference was tighten the governor so it would run faster. They didn't change the carb bore valves nothing. And the gov. got on their butts.
