Nappy and Janice are some of the best people you will ever meet. He had this old 416-8 that he bought new that had a little accident and rolled down a hill. It had been sitting for awhile and wanted to get it going but the wiring was a mess.
We've been talking about getting it to the shop and getting it rewired and running for him so he could use his faithful steed once again. We were out picking up a Horse close to him so we swung by his place and picked it up. We brought it back to the shop, looked it over good and truthfully it was almost beyond saving. I've never seen so many cracks and splits in the metal on a tractor before. We got to thinking it would be a real challenge but it would be really nice to restore it for him. With the help of some of the staff donating to the cause, Terry furnishing the decal set, and a whole lot of work we got this little Horse back to the way she should be.
Thank you to the staff members who helped The Stables save Nappy's tractor and get her back on her feet!
Here are some pics of the restoration.

We hope you enjoy your new Horse Naps.
But we better not catch it outside or without a good wax job.

What I was thinking on my way to the show was that Geno would have some of his herd there and mine would have been just another tractor there..
when I saw there wasn't I was thinking that one was his for the show and mine was still back at the shop....but the more I looked at it I noticed the tie rods...
It was mine and so much work was put into it......speechless shock surprised and very thankful for knowing such fine folks....I just wasn't expecting it to look so nice again......A BIG THANKS.....

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
I can't see the forest for the trees.
