The Eclipse has begun was created by Geno
The Eclipse has begun already. I think it will be complete at 10:11 tonight and last for awhile. If you get a chance go out and take a look, it's a Super moon Eclipse or what they call a Super Eclipse.. The last one like this was 1982 and the next one is 2033. :)

we had been predicted to have an overcast....and the prediction was right.....hope it was a good view for you guys...

We got lucky, It was clear here thru well past peak. I got some good shots.

Thanks Major,

I was shooting my Nikon D2X with a Nikkor 70-210 f2.8 zoom and a Nikkor 2X teleconvertor. Tripod of course.

It was a tough subject. Not much light at the peak and both the earth and the moon are moving. You can see the star tracks. Exposure was 6 seconds, lens wide open and ISO 800+.

But it was quite a show.. I'm just glad we weren't under a cloud cover.
