520 Refresh

We've started on getting ready for the mowing season and this first one to go is gonna be the one that takes up the most room, we really need some space. We started on it last Saturday morning and by that evening it was all striped and painted. We spent yesterday putting it back together, fixing some wiring, and finishing it up. Sandra will get some pics of it finished after breakfast.

The tractor was very solid, but the paint was really faded.

Everything was stripped down and painted by Saturday night.

Looking great.......you using rattle cans or air gun to paint ?

That one is a Krylon job. I like the Krylon because you can paint the black on the hood and tractor, then 1 hour later you can tape it up and paint the red. Time between coats is 1 minute and It is completely dry and ready to handle in less than 1 hour.

That was fast work. Looks great, that 60" mower will get the job done fast.

All we're waiting on now is the decal for the throttle + choke plate that's coming off this morning to be prepped. We have to put a knob on the front tach-a-matic, and the seat could be better, but overall it turned out pretty nice for a 2 day job.

Did they make a front mount for that 60 deck?
