Homer's Lawn Ranger deck was created by Geno
Some of you may remember Homer's Lawn Ranger from SC that got restored last year. He bought it new when he was a teenager and used it to mow other peoples yards for extra money. If you don't remember it it's here -
Homer's Lawn Ranger Restore
He brought 2 decks here a few weeks ago and I will be taking 2 and making one. There are parts missing from his original deck and there is a little rust in it. They will be going out to the pressure washer today as soon as it warms up.

Other than tearing down the spindles and replacing bearings and seals I have all of the best parts ready to make 1 good deck. Rods are straightened, rough edges are off, and all of the rusted in cotter pins are out. I still need to take the good shell out for 1 more pressure washing before it goes in the blaster to get a little grease off that was under the housing, and a few things need to go in the parts washer. Then it will be blasting time.
