1995 520H Really small Belt?

When I was cutting today, I found a really short belt in the yard. I assume it came off the Wheel Horse, but I'm not sure where it came from. My only suspicion is it might have something to do with the rear wheel drive? It didn't want to climb up the hill today, it was kind of going side ways, so maybe only 1 wheel was getting power?

Picture attached shows it laying on a paper napkin so you have a reference for scale.

Thanks,
Sam

I would say that has been cut several times, if your horse is still moving and cutting can't imagine it came off your tractor.

Maybe a dog or raccoon drug it in your yard lol. I'm with GT, it only takes 1 belt to move and 2 to cut and if 1 is missing it won't move or cut. :)

I guess it is possible it is a part of a belt, part of the inner layer. Does it look like that?

Thanks, I thought it was too short to be off the Wheel Horse, just checking. The slipping on the hill was probably because we were on vacation and the grass got taller than normal.

I just wanted to double check.

No, it just seems to be one small short belt.
