Scott's Air Horse was created by Geno
This belongs to Scott Powers, he has been a member here since last August. I think we've been talking about restoring it since then but he's been doing a lot of work on it when he gets time. You can chime in what what all you have done Scott.
He and his family were here all afternoon going over things and checking out the World of Wheel Horse. He has a very smart wife (she was giving good ideas on how to reinforce the hood among other things) and 2 great boys. We'll get started on it Monday and they will be following along in here.
The biggest hold up will be waiting till the end of this week when it hits the 40's to pressure wash it, and getting with Terry on the decals. I think this is new territory for us all. Sandra already said she's not pressure washing it in that cold a temp. Gotta get a rain suit I guess so I don't freeze to death.
Here she is.

You’ll have fun with that. Always thought they looked odd with the front suspended like that.

The Air Horse is an air tug, made to move planes around. The tug portion was made by Tiffin Aire and they still make them. You can look at them here -

Here are the before pics.
We'll be replacing most of the sheet metal including the fan cover, and changing a few things like making some custom light mounts and painting the tug red + black with ivory wheels to make it all match. The hood will also be reinforced where it can't be seen. Scott wants it pretty nice when it's done.

Yesterday was a wild day, but we did manage to get it all checked out, ready for the pressure washer, and Terry and I got the decals figured out. The decal pic below is before we got the lettering on the Warning decal figured out. Most of it was gone and almost impossible to read but between Rhodes, Sandra and I, the right lighting and magnifiers, we finally got it.

She's getting pressure washed tomorrow. Normally we don't do restorations in the Winter because we usually can't pressure wash, but this has been an unusual Winter. Will put up some pics if I don't freeze to death first.
I ordered a full rain suit that came in today, that should help a lot.
