Most of this week has been full of car work again, why do the few customers I kept all break at once?
This afternoon is the first time I've had a chance to work on a tractor all week and it feels good! It's time for the little 314-8.
Someone had painted it up like the General Lee with the flag on the hood and all. The PO painted it back red. Here's what she looked like to start with.

Her's what she looked like after Sandra's pressure washing magic. We also removed the wheel weights and clevis hitch, they'll be staying here...

Over 2 full days of mechanic work on this one. Nothing at all electrical worked, all of the safety switch ends were cut out, and the clutch switch + seat switch were gone. There was also plenty of fancy cutting and bypass wiring that we had to completely redo. We did have all of the pigtails and parts here to get it put back the way it belonged along with a new ignition switch, but what a time eater finding it all and sorting through the wiring mess...
Sandra blasted it last week and I got everything prepped and paint on the undersides this afternoon. Also just got done with the engine and red on the frame. Still need to strip and paint the tower black, got in too big of a hurry and missed it.

I have one of those around here somewhere too.
15 minute supper break is over and time to do some more painting.

That pic was from 6-20 when we first got it. Had to put valve cover gaskets on it, a wheel bearing, and remove a few little dents.
Thanks for the nice comments guys. Gonna paint the hood this morning after Sandra gets the black taped up and try to get some assembly time today.
