This one ended up staying behind at the show to get the blown head gasket fixed and some other things. Craig called me a few days later and said to just go on and restore the tractor as well. :thumb1

She looks real good at 20 feet but a little different up close. I've seen quite a few that fit that description lol. :rolling

Head is blasted and milled as far as I can go. It has a few little spots in it but they will be fine. The engine has also been rebuilt at some point and bored 20 over. Ring gap isn't bad at all, it has a little scoring on the cylinder walls but should last a long time. :)

Gene, I was glad to come up to the spring show with my dad and meet you. It is exciting to see all that you do on fixing old wheel horses and the detail that goes in to it. The photos are great seeing how this all starts on the restoration.

We're all glad you and dad came. It's always good to see your Horse fixed up lol. :thumb1

Engine is back together, with the right head gasket this time, and she is all pressure washed up. Soon as she dries out which shouldn't be long at 92 degrees, she will come in and get a little more work. I think it's time to turn the rooftop units on in the shop today and crank up some AC... :)

I had all of the lower frame prepped last night so I got a little paint happy today... The lower framework, engine and muffler are painted. I'll prep the upper tower and paint it tomorrow. Also got a lot of blasting done, all that's left is 1 rear wheel, hood, and rear pan. I think this has the goo Magic paint on it from Tractor Supply and it's not coming off easy. :waiting

I know this tractor should have been all painted last night but the old rubberized paint is giving me a headache lol. :rolling
