Lets see your Custom Attachments! was created by Scott
Over the years I was not able to find what I needed to do the things that I wanted to do with my tractors. So I started to make attachments that I needed. I would love to see all the things others have made. This could be nice collection of one off attachments to give others ideas to make there own. From small to large, list them with pictures and why you made them. Even if its just a modification to a OEM piece or a small thing, lets see it! I will start with a few of mine.
First thing I made was a 2" receiver hitch so I could just take the hitch out of my truck and put it on my tractor to move trailers around the yard.
I originally made 3 for my self and others wanted the same thing! So My buddy tom and I started to make them and sell them. If your interested in one send me a PM and I will put you in contact with Tom and he will build you one. They are made to order and they are not in stock. It takes about a month as we need several orders to make a batch of hitches.
Next I made the "V" blade! This is a favorite of mine for sure!! It works off of the Eaton 1100 trans pump and was tied into the factory lift valve. It makes short work of moving snow and is a lot of fun to use!
Videos
This was a blast to build and took a lot of thinking and research, but from the videos it was well worth the time!

Last year I wanted a large generator for the house and wanted to save a little $ doing it. The WH one was way too small for my needs and loved being able to use the same idea as they did. Got my 20% off coupon and got on line to order a new gen head from HF. $250 shipped to the door. 10,000 watts surge and 7000 watts cont. ordered a pulley from McMastercarr and made a frame with some wheels on it for easy install on the tractor. You need a min. Of 16 hp to run this head. After hooking it up to the house, it runs every thing but the dryer and central A/C Not bad for under $350!!

I got more things I made, weight box and suitcase weight bar for the 2" receivers
the box is made of 1/2" plate stock and weighs 90lbs. It is filled with old hex rods from bad conveyer rollers from work. total weight is 250lbs.
The suitcase weights are from a green tractor store, but will have some bondo and red paint on them later this spring.
Next up is my 3 point for my 518, This was from a D200 and was modified to fit the back of my 518. It has a 1" block of steel between the seat stand and the Eaton 1100 for a top mount of the 3 point. It also makes clearance for the 26-12-12 rear tires on 12" wide rims. it will pick up about 350-400lbs.
Know this three point and weight box is for counterbalance of the FEL that I downsized to fit this tractor.
and in this picture it has all 4 wheels off the ground.
